College football is officially back this weekend! I love this time of year and nothing feels more like a fun Saturday than starting it off in the morning with Lee Corso and Kurt Herbstreet on College Game Day. Side note: i still miss Samantha Ponder as a contributor on there.

I went to college at Texas A&M and the traditional attire to wear to the games there are custom pair of painted overalls. I’m sure you’ll be surprised to know that I never participated in that trend, although had I been a student in 2019 where overalls are actually in style, I may have! I personally like to do something more than just a graphic tee with jeans so I put together 4 different looks that can be worn to a game or beyond.

Most of the outfits have a particular item that comes in a variety of colors that you could select based on your team colors. As usual, I try to source items at budget friendly prices so all of the looks except for one can be created at a nice price point.

I love this graphic tee! This outfit is perfect for the non-sports fan that is at the game for the tailgate more than the actual sporting event! The t-shirt comes in a few different colors and you could incorporate your team colors with a statement earring or purse.

This look is for the girl that doesn’t want to buy anything new, but rather just use items from the summer. The bag I used for this look was super popular this year and should meet the bag size requirements for most stadiums. Denim is a great neutral to build upon and I would choose a handkerchief/bandana in your team colors tied around your neck to show your spirit. It could also double as a rally towel! 😉

These J. Crew perfect fit tees are some of my very favorite basic tops to wear and it comes in 22 colors. The sneakers are made with a mesh material so they will be nice and breathable for long hot days on your feet. You can also get this clear purse in a few different colors and the headband trend is perfect to keep your sweaty hair off of your face, ha!

I love this outfit. Super classy and would work well for when the temps get cooler or for the attendee that has the luxury of sitting in an air conditioned box seat 🙂

The ruffled off the shoulder top comes in a few different colors (red, black, navy polka dot) but obviously white can be the most versatile color that you could incorporate team colors into through jewelry or accessories. These clear bags also comes in so many different color varieties and I love the cognac color of these mules. They also comes in red and black (along with a few other options) but the cognac is so great for fall.

Here are a few other places I found some great game day options:

J. Marie via the Impeccable Pig. So many adorable embroidered tops and dresses that come in many collegiate color ways.

The Blue Door Boutique. Great, fashionable basics in a variety of colors with fun accessories. Price point is nice, too.

The Mint Julep Boutique: This romper comes in a ton of colors

Etsy: Just search whatever it is you are looking for and you will likely find it or someone who can make it for you. Love this “it’s gameday y’all!” t-shirt!

We will be cheering on the Aggies tonight and the Tide this weekend (and awaiting the bug hurricane brewing in the atlantic!). Who are you rooting for?
