Y’all know I’m all about making easy things in the kitchen so when I buy a pre-made pie shell for a recipe that comes in a pack of two, a pie is just begging to be made with that extra shell. This buttermilk pie recipe is E-Z and so delicious. My husband calls it crack pie and you will have all but one ingredient already in your kitchen.
Best Buttermilk Pie

INGREDIENTS
•1 C sugar
•1 Tbsp flour
•1/2 stick of salted butter, softened
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/3 C buttermilk
• pinch of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 unbaked 9” pie shell (not deep dish)
DIRECTIONS
•Preheat oven to 325 degrees
• Combine sugar, flour and softened butter and mix well. I like to use a stand mixer.
• Add eggs one at a time
•Add buttermilk, vanilla and salt and mix until everything is combined.
• Pour into pie shell and bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
• Let pie sit for at least 30 minutes before serving. I prefer to eat it cold so I like to make it the day before and let it chill over night in fridge.
Enjoy!
