Living in the Palm Beach area is so fun for many reasons, one of them being that it’s the home of Lilly Pulitzer! Ladies love wearing their Lilly accompanied by their
for a classic Palm Beach look year round. We ran to the mall this weekend to have some indoor activities with the kids since it was raining and I decided to run into the Lilly store and try on a few things that caught my eye. I find that the Lilly line runs large so I typically size down in most items. You can shop the items shared by clicking the photo of me in the clothing or at the very bottom of the post. This little hot pink fit and flair dress was so fun and very flattering. I appreciated that you could wear a normal bra with it and not worry about the straps showing but there are also built in cups if you chose to go without. It zips in the back and is fitted through the hips. If you are a little wider in the hip area, I would suggest getting your normal size instead of sizing down.
Ok this was definitely out of my comfort zone but I am really enjoying the two-piece set trend and decided to give this one a try. They didn’t have my size so I am holding the skirt to be in the appropriate place but I feel like this would be the perfect beach vacation dress. Definitely size down from your normal size as both the top and bottom were generously sized.
I adored this dress. The photo doesn’t do it justice but the white palm leaves are embroidered with the prettiest sparkly beads that just shine when it catches the light. The straps are adjustable and the back is ruched for extra stretch. Material is cotton.
I can’t say no to a jumpsuit so its no surprise this one made the try on cut. I’m 5’9 and the stride was juuuust too short for me so I needed to size up to my normal size. Material is nice and flowy so this would be perfect for the hot summer months ahead of us and would pair well with a white or denim jean jacket.
This dress stopped me in my tracks. How stunning is this? Please, someone going to Greece by this dress and live out all of my Mykonos dreams in this piece! Again, the photo doesn’t do the beadwork justice but just take my word for it that it is spectacular. It also comes in a light shade of blue and definitely runs big so size down.
This was such a comfy, flattering dress. It has a zipper in the back which makes getting it on really easy and I loved the collared neckline. This is perfect for a summer work outfit or just a casual night out for dinner. You would have this piece in your closest forever…timeless!
Certainly the most figure flattering piece I tried on! The faux wrap dress accentuates your waist and still leaves plenty of room in the hips to create a nice silhouette. It comes in a pink fabric option as well.
Talk about a statement top! I fell in love with this as soon as I put it on. It’s somewhat hard to tell in the photo but its a pink seersucker material. You could wear it like I have it styled here with denim (or white denim), shorts, or tucked into high waisted crop pants. Its a little more of a relaxed, blousy fit but you could also tuck it in like I did here.
