I didn’t have much time since I had the kids (and my husband!) with me but I popped into LOFT to run through the store and see what they had that caught my eye since they were advertising a sale. The first thing I noticed were these chino pants with the adorable scalloped eyelet hem. I needed a top to try on with them since I was wearing a dress so I grabbed the floral ruffle sleeve top. On my way to the dressing room, I spotted that amazing white with grey pom pom dress and top and knew that I needed to see those on as well! Here are my thoughts about each piece:

The Pants: First impression of the pants was that they REALLY exceeded my expectations. I am pretty much an exclusive denim pant wear-er but as soon as I put on these tailored fit pants…I was in love. They only come in this gray shade and a mustard yellow with this scalloped hem detail but the style (The girlfriend) has several other options.  I am wearing a size 2 which is my normal size. They have good stretch and are just overall super flattering. Homerun!

Ruffle Sleeve Top: This was a really sweet top. The material was thick enough that it wasn’t see-through and you can wear it buttoned or unbuttoned at the top. Lavender is a popular color for this spring and I could see it worn tucked into a skirt or paper bag shorts or you could dress it up the way I’m wearing it with heels for a dressier look that would be nice for work or church. Oh and  It’s on sale!

Pom Pom V-Neck Midi Dress: I would have bought this dress if it has been on sale so I’m going to keep my eyes on it in hopes the price will drop! I LOVED it so much and felt it was the perfect blend of feminine and whimsy. Super versatile and the skirt portion of the dress is lined. The top is a little big but I’m really small up top (post-breastfeeding probs…and pre breastfeeding probs, haha) but I wouldn’t imagine it would be a problem for most people. It would look adorable styled with wedges or sneakers and a denim jacket.

Pom Pom Tie Front Shirt- This was my preferred look with the chino’s. No surprise I really liked this top since I liked the dress so much. It is slightly sheer, but not inappropriate. This will be a great top to carry you all the way through summer (I’m thinking red statement earrings for Memorial Day or the 4th of July).

I hope you see something here I tried that could work for you! If you haven’t subscribed to their email list before, you can get 30% off your entire by doing that on their website. The Lou & Gray items (pom pom dress and top) are not included in that discount.
