Today’s my birthday! I decided to brave the dressing room with the kids to try on a few things I grabbed on a quick browse through Old Navy. So thanks to a giant bag of goldfish, this post was made possible!

I noticed the some of the items are showing more expensive online than they were in the store so I’ll be sure to notate that if thats the case for a certain piece. I actually ended up purchasing everything I tried on (this never happens) because it was all THAT good. Also, I am wearing these big red earrings today and didn’t have the time to take them off (kids 😉 so I realize they don’t “go” with everything but I was surprised at how well they complimented a lot of the outfits! They are from Amazon and are only $14.99.

Multi-Stripe Linen Blend Shirt Dress

I loved this dress. I’m wearing a size small and plan to wear it as pictured with these Target mules as well as with wedges or even sneakers. Looks great dressed up with the jean jacket and would also look cute with this straw hat. This dress is not on sale and is $36.99 both in stores and online.

Waist Defined Striped Shirt Dress

Another really cute linen blend dress. It also comes in an adorable light blue stripe as well as a navy stripe. Again, so many fun ways to wear this light and airy piece during the spring/summer. I could see tying a pretty scarf in your hair for a sweet and feminine look. This dress was only $12.00 in the store today (!!!) but is showing $26.00 online.  I’m wearing an XS here but ended up getting a S because I wanted a more relaxed look (an i’m assuming it will shrink a little).

Slim Fit Striped Crew Neck Tee

Ok, I LOVE these shirts! It reminds me of my favorite J. Crew perfect fit tee but the price is so much better ($7.00!) They are SO soft and a very shape flattering fit. It also comes in a black and white option but I loved these two bright colors for the spring. This would look so cute tucked into a jean skirt, paired with white or denim shorts and I’m pretty sure I’m going to be living in these with my favorite jeans I’m wearing here all the time. I am wearing a size XS but ended up getting the S because I figure it will shrink some in the dryer and they were already pretty fitted.

Ruffled Sweetheart Neck Fit & Flare Dress

I’ll admit, this is a little outside of my style norm but it grabbed my eye enough on the rack to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this dress. It’s very feminine and I really like the rouching in the back that gives it a more fitted look in the bodice. It comes in several other cute patterns (including white with black polka dots!) $32.00 online

One Shoulder Blue and White Swim Top with Mid Rise Bottoms

So I just cant bring myself to post a photo of myself in a swim suit (too many creeps out there) but here is a little glimpse of a suit I ordered a few weeks ago and just LOVE. The mid rise bottoms are such a great fit and I love the classic powder blue and white stripe. It also comes in other prints/colors and is on sale so this is definitely worth checking out if you are a mom and need to a “sensible suit” but still want to look cute 😉 The top is on sale for $18.00 and the bottoms are $15.00
